Rodwell ready to choose Everton over Man Utd

Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell looks set to spurn the advances of Manchester United and sign a new contract at Goodison Park.

The 19-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford and the player is said to be keen to pledge his future to the club.

Rodwell has four years to run on his existing deal at Everton and manager David Moyes is ready to reward the player with improved terms.
