Lawro predicts Everton to beat West Ham

BBC football pundit Mark Lawrenson has predicted that Everton will beat West Ham United on Sunday.

He told BBC Sport Online: “With West Ham under tremendous pressure after six consecutive defeats, I can understand why manager Gianfranco Zola opted to give the players a few days off. Getting them away from the ground and from each other might see them return refreshed.

“The trouble for the Hammers is Everton have been one the form teams in the Premier League over the last couple of months and they have some real quality in their side.

“Everton have nearly all their players fit and you have to fancy them to win this at Goodison.

“Prediction: 2-0.”
