Everton have agreed a deal to sign Philippe Senderos on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Arsenal defender nearly moved to Goodison Park in the summer but has now finally completed the deal.
Senderos will be watching the Toffees face Birmingham in the FA Cup, with the formalities of the deal to be completed in the next 48 hours.

My god as if another prem team has taken him,My nan would be a better player then senderos. Good luck with him Everton
Listen Toffees, dannythegooner (above) is a muppet. A lot of us Arsenal fans are sorry to see him go and feel he could have done a job for us this season. Unfortunately he seemed to fall out of favour with Wenger after a couple of high profile mistakes in a CL quarter final against your city rivals the season before last. I’m a season ticket holder and I have watched him many, many times. In his younger days (like all novice CBs) he made some costly blunders, but in general he’s an honest, brave, hard-working defender and you won’t be sorry you’ve taken him.
Good luck for the the rest of the season. You lot were the best team we’ve played at the Emirates this season (including Chavski) and you were unlucky not to win. After that game it was no surprise to me how you smacked Citeh around. Definite top 6 finish for you this year – shame about your awful start.
