Everton skipper Phil Neville is aiming to return to his full match fitness after injury.

Nev has featured in Everton’s last three Premier League matches after previously missing three months of the season due to the knee injury he picked up at Fulham.

“I feel okay now but I feel I can still get sharper,” Neville told evertonTV.  “I have been out for three months though.

“With there now being no mid-week games for a few weeks I can get some really good training in as I still need to strengthen the knee.  Fingers crossed I can keep getting stronger and stronger and each game I will become fitter and fitter.”

“It is just good to come back into a team that is full of confidence now and a team that is fully focused on improving our league form and improving our results,” he added.

“We are all looking to really attack the second half of the season and we must all focus on that. Personally I hope to play my part in that.”
