Everton in talks over Donovan loan deal

Everton have confirmed that they are working on a loan deal to bring Landon Donovan to the club.

The striker, currently contracted to LA Galaxy would join in a similar fashion to David Beckham’s deal at AC Milan.

Should a deal be reached, Donovan could join on January 2nd and leave in March.

“Landon is a player David Moyes has identified as someone he would like to bring to the club,” chief executive Robert Elstone told the club’s official website.

“We are working to make that happen and hope we can reach agreement soon with all the appropriate parties.”
