Neville: Spurs tie date is a ‘disgrace’

Phil Neville believes that it is a ‘disgrace’ that Everton must face Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday.
Both sides will meet in the Carling Cup tie at White Hart Lane, which will have seen David Moyes’ side play three games in six days.
“The fact that we’re playing on Tuesday is nothing short of a disgrace,” Neville told BBC Radio Merseyside.
“Somebody, somewhere is probably sat in their office not bothered about the fact we want to win the Carling Cup.”
“That (the timing of the game) is something we can’t control,” added Neville.
“We’ve handled situations like this in the past. When the chips are down and our backs are to the wall and people are writing us off, that’s when this club gels together.”

Everton did not turn up against Roma anyway so they had a rest all night, i understand both Spurs and Everton are both playing this weekend so they both have a quick game after on the Tuesday so what. Had Eveton actually turned up against roma then i could understand GNs comments.
